When I think of DC, I always think it’s the city full of culture and history. There are countless views that can take anyone’s breath away, sites steeped in history, and architecture filled with grand details. It’s an incredible city in which to celebrate a wedding day, and I’m thrilled each time my team and I drive into the city to debut a design for our Klassy couple’s celebration. Today, I’m sharing our chuppah rental at Roxanna and Eric’s Cosmo Club wedding!
Roxanna and Eric celebrated their wedding day during the month when summer comes to a close and fall begins anew – September. Together with their family and guests, they gathered at the Cosmos Club, a club of distinction in the heart of Washington, D.C. that boasts an inspiring array of members. Our chuppah rental created the setting for their ceremony which worked cohesively with the Cosmo Club walls which are decorated with elegant architectural details in shades of ivory and gold, and beautiful chandeliers warmly light the space, and the gold trim details on the wall offer a nearly regal touch.
To honor both their Jewish and Persian cultures, Roxanna and Eric wanted to celebrate their union by reciting their vows under a chuppah with a Sofreh Aghd positioned in front. I was thrilled to team up with Simply Styled Events and Mikaela Marie Photography at this wedding. Our beautiful voile draped chuppah worked well for this elegant and timeless wedding. Plus, the softer chuppah design allowed all of the traditional elements of the Sofreh Aghd, which were included to symbolize the joining of a couple’s lives together in Persian culture, to shine beautifully in front.
