I could not let Valentine’s Day pass by without a post dedicated to it completely. From wedding color palettes and wedding flowers to table linens and uplighting, continue to read below to learn how I would design and style a wedding with Valentine’s day in mind.
Red and pink color palette – to me, they represent two of the most romantic colors, and you will see both represented frequently in today’s post! However, I love including deeper shades to create rich texture and warmth and lighter shades to incorporate a feminine feel. What may come as a surprise is how brilliantly charcoal gray can be incorporated for a completely modern, opulent look!
A wedding inspired by Valentine’s Day simply must include candles (and lots of them!). An aisle lined with silver gray wedding lanterns of varying heights and red roses or lots of glass cylinder vases with white floating candles and red rose petals art down the aisle looks gorgeous and so elegant for ceremonies set in the evening because the light casts such a romantic glow.
Tablescapes are not complete without candles, white floating candles in different glass flute candle holders for a more elegant soiree, set on top of our charcoal accordion table linens. For the centerpieces, soft pink and hot pink lush garden roses is a great substitution for the peonies in this inspiration image which will create a timeless ambiance. To enhance your lighting and ambiance even more, consider adding pink uplights to cast a soft glow!
While today’s post is in honor of Valentine’s Day, today’s design is not just limited to the holiday! Shades of red and pink, elegant candle-filled tables, and lush wedding flowers are always in vogue in any season!
