While it may seem my blog has been a little quiet over the past few weeks, it’s because I have been knee deep in the rebranding process of Klassy Kreations with the fabulous ladies at Marketing Queen and Green Star Paperie and pausing for some much needed time to rest with my family. I explored how I would create an amazing and inviting experience for my Klassy brides, and I’ll be sharing much more in the coming weeks!

Today, I want to explore with you some of my favorite winter wedding flower options for designing Klassy weddings during the coldest season. I always to love to design with in season wedding flowers, which allows me to keep my Klassy brides’ budget in check. Below, I’m going to chat through winter flowers for a variety of budgets.
Premium flowers such as garden roses, anemones, ranunculus, and Phaeleonopsis orchids are wonderful focal wedding flower options for winter weddings with higher budgets. As a note, Phaeleonopsis orchids have the steep price point – wholesale cost per stem is at least $22!
For weddings with medium budgets, I often suggest filling arrangements with a mix of both premium and mid-priced flowers. Some of my favorite mid-priced winter flowers are lisianthus, tulips, Calla lilies, and hydrangeas; they’re such classic blooms and are always suitable for a variety of wedding styles.
When choosing flowers for weddings with lower price points, I turn to roses and hydrangeas (hydrangea are available in different price points) to create lush romantic wedding flowers. While there are certainly other flowers with lower price points such as Alstromeria however, for Klassy Weddings, roses and hydrangea stems are our basic flower selection options.
Rather than exclusively using one type of winter flower for any arrangement, I love mixing together different flowers of one type of winter flower to create texture and interest to create a well-rounded design.
