wedding florists and other professionals in DC, Maryland, and beyond often offer a wedding package of some sort however, COVID has challenged the wedding industry to infuse some new creativity into our usual service offering. We became inspired, and we want to bring new ideas and designs to life. We have always enjoyed exploring new concepts on our own, so we have decided to innovate quickly so weddings can occur in new ways this year and next.
Over the past few weeks, we have explored how we expect weddings and wedding florists to change in DC Metro Areas. To be very specific: We expect intimate weddings to become not just a trend but a way of life. And, we’re excited about this new style! Today, I thought we would dive deeper into the floral designs you can experience through our intimate floral collection. Keep reading below!
Elopement Package:
As we previously shared, when we think of an elopement we typically imagine the bride and groom exchanging vows together with their officiant and perhaps and photographer. Sometimes they might also be joined by a very close family (think: parents or siblings) and a friend or two. With this in mind, the floral designs you will want and need for an elopement are simple. Through our intimate floral collection, we’re planning to provide:
- Bridal Bouquet + Groom’s Boutonniere
Micro or Intimate Wedding Package:
If you choose to host a micro or intimate wedding, we’re envisioning a slightly larger celebration with more guests. In this scenario, we imagine you will host up to 25 guests for a ceremony and relaxed reception with a cocktail feel. Because you will have more people and events happening, you will want to opt for a slightly more involved package from our intimate floral collection:
- Bridal Bouquet + Groom’s Boutonniere
- Ceremony Floral Arch or a Chuppah
- 3-4 Reception Centerpieces
- Accent Cake Flowers
Mini Wedding Package:
The final style of wedding that fits within our intimate floral collection is a mini wedding. This style of wedding has the highest guest count with up to 50 guests. During this wedding, we imagine couples hosting their ceremony and a reception complete with a meal. There also may even be dancing. Because a mini wedding is sized down from your original larger wedding plans, you will want to incorporate the most flowers from our intimate floral collection into your celebration:
- Bridal Bouquet + Groom’s Boutonniere
- Ceremony Floral Arch or Chuppah Design
- Best Man Boutonniere
- Maid of Honor Bouquet
- 3-5 Reception Centerpieces
- Accent Cake Flowers
